Here's how SNAP works:
Submit an ApplicationThis should take about 20 minutes.
Phone CallWe will call you within the next five (5) days to conduct an interview.
Send in VerificationsWe'll give you a list of documents to send in so we can verify your eligibility.
Get SNAP BenefitsWe'll make a decision within 30 days. If approved, benefits will be added to your EBT card, a debit card for groceries.
The average food benefit is $215 per month for a SNAP household of 2 in Massachusetts.
